Dasamahavidya are called the ten top Vidyas or ten top mystic lessons; same is the case with Asta Lakshmi and Navadurga. They are also called great 8 lessons and 9 lessons respectively, but you will find no proper explanation anywhere about the lessons they signify. Wherever you find the names of the super-powers, explanation of the deities is the only thing, with which you have to return. Similar is the case with 16 Kala Vidya, These are the 16 mystic lessons that strengthens an Incarnation. Those who manages to know at least something, plunge into a darkness about the Kalas and the Vidyas. The first question that comes here – Are the 16 Kalas different from that of 10 Mahavidyas or Asta Lakshmi Vidyas??
Are Dasamahavidya, Asta Lakshmi and Navadurga different from 16 Kala Vidya??
When you ask this question, you are absolutely on the right track. Other incarnations like, Narshimha, Baraha, Kurma, Matsya etc are said to be educated with 4 Kalas, whereas incarnations like Parshuram, Baman, Buddha are said to learn 8 Kalas. Lord Rama and the coming incarnation – Kalki, are said to bear 12 kalas and finally Lord Krisna is said to be the complete most among incarnations and he learnt all the 16 Kalas, from Rishi Sandipani. Now the fact is that, an incarnation, who is said to be complete, is equal to Lord, in terms of experience, strength and even in terms of knowledge. So, it has to be correct that these 16 kala vidya are the complete package of the lessons, that can make a human complete in all senses. But, if the Dasamahavidya is not included here, then how can those be Maha (Greatest) of Vidyas (Lessons)?
No, they are not different, even Asta Lakshmi or Navadurga Lessons are not different from the 16 Kala Vidya. Below, I have mentioned all the 16 Kala Vidyas for your ease, where you will find that some of the Lessons are repeated in the case of Mahavidyas and Asta Lakshmi Kalas, or even in the case of Navadurga. Basically, the fact is that, the core things remained always same – the thing that changes is the names of the Kalas, from places to places and from rishi to rishi’s oral words. The names that you will find below might not match with the internet available Kala names. In fact, I also searched the internet and at different sites, the same things were said but nomenclature differed from one place to other. However, the name, features, abilities and the name of the ruling goddess for each of the 16 kala vidya, mentioned below are sourced from someone under the vigilance of Dhyanam… So, about genuineness, there is no doubt about these declarations.

One Kala that is not assigned to Anyone
[Adhidaibik]Adhidaibik Gyan is that stream of knowledge, whose discretionary power is held with the Mother, on her own. This is the power or strength, which makes a Saint or a devotee extremely powerful, as he/she can derive the fruits of any work, by analyzing the work itself. This is such a knowledge, getting of which, makes the devotee/saint much above the domain of Astrology or the science of curse or boon. By gaining this knowledge, anyone can manipulate his/her own life and can even manipulate other’s life or can even manipulate Destiny (Niyati). Thus, this is a great science, which is filled with mathematical, philosophical and psychological analysis, where each of the streams runs parallel to each other. This is the reason, why this stream of lesson (Kala) has been held by Mother, herself and she assigns this to someone only, who will never manipulate Destiny, without her concern.
