In my previous blog on Bhakti Yoga, I mentioned about the three secret practices in Bhakti Marg, that leads a Bhakt (devotee) to a great altitude within 2 minutes. Today, I will say you the first one among the two tricks.

Understanding UNDERFLOW of Bhakti

You often hear about Tirupati Balaji and his debt to Kuber. There you learn about debt in terms of gold, but a real life devotee, a Sudh Bhakt knows it very well that God is never a debtor on any thing, except Bhakti, or you may call it as love to him/her.

This debt, i.e. Debt of love is such that Lord cannot withstand by any means, as he/she can be only bonded by this love. As a result, what he/she does to a devotee – he/she waits for the word of the mouth, in case of a Bhakt. As soon as the devotee seeks something, Lord stays at his/her feet to accomplish that need. This is the relation of Bhakt and Lord and in fact, this is the biggest secret that lies between Lord and devotee, that is rarely known to some only.

Taking Bhakti Yoga to the extreme

Taking vantage of that weak point of Lord, a devotee slowly and deeply devotes himself/herself in the love of his/her lord. For a devotee, who is a devotee in real sense, there cannot be any other prime demand of his/her than to spare time with Lord himself/herself. Hence, the ultimate destination of Pure Devotee is to get a glance of his/her lord and to reside with his/her lord for the rest of the life.

Well. here you have a great magic stick before you to identify the real Bhakti. This is the theme of Bhakti Yoga too, which a devotee attains with time and in exchange of dedication, patience and love for Lord. He Identifies them that, by no means, and in no life, Lord has forgotten him/her, but out of illusion and out of creed for Gold and Lust, he/she diverted his/her mind to the material world. He even feels that in some of the lives of his/her, time was unnecessarily spent for not believing that the Infinite God can be finite. So, now is the time for him/her to remind all those days, when he/she denied the love and to fulfill this life and henceforth in doing Bhakti to his/her lord.

The Ultimate Trick of Bhakti Yoga

As the devotee dedicates his/her life in the name of lord, gradually the material desires becomes baseless and at times, even the material pleasures seems to him like an intolerable pain. On the contrary, since the devotee seeks nothing from the lord, debt of lord increases and that increases rapidly. Such becomes the condition that lord even have to place the devotee in certain uncanny situations, so that he/she out of trust towards Bhakti, claims the support from Lord.

This is the place where a real devotee stands out to be different from all the creatures of the Universe. He/she feels the pain, understand the pressure and even makes himself/herself ready to abolish the life itself, but in no condition, he/remains ready to ask for some favor from the Lord. This is the relation between Lord and devotee and this is the area, where Bhakti reaches its extreme stage. Lord continues to take different tests on the Bhakt, so that the debt can be released, but if the Bhakt can stand his/her ground there, success in Bhakti Yoga is inevitable and that will start happening very much quickly.
